2000 was the first year Formula One returned to Indianapolis since the 1940s. James and I attended and sat in the lower stands right across from the pits. I didn't have my digital camera yet, so I don't have pictures from it. We got to see Michael Schumacher win for his first of several times in the US.

We also got to explore Indianapolis and find some of it's tourist sites.
