Giants @ New Orleans, September 19, 2005
Due to the destruction left by Hurricane Katrina, the New Orleans Saints were forced to play many of their "home" games at opponent's fields.
So, on September 19th, the Saints hosted the Giants at Giants Stadium.
Intead of our normal 8th row seats, Eric, Deniz, Gary and I were able to get 3rd row seats on the opposite side of the field-you guessed it-right in front of the Saint's cheerleaders, The Saintsations..
The pre-game featured a coin toss by former President George Bush, Sr. and the national anthem from Winton Marsallas and Harry Connick Jr.
Half-time sounds were from Three Doors Down, a country music band.
The Giants scored first in the game and never looked back, winning handily 27-10.
